One thing that I’ve noticed is if someone says they are vegan because they want to be healthier or because they want to lose weight, it’s widely accepted. Yet when a person says that they’re vegan for the animals, the planet and so on, it’s an act of self-righteous privilege. When have we become so selfish that taking other factors into perspective as to why people become vegan ceases to matter when they’re doing it for someone/something other than themselves?
